SAN ANTONIO -- A suspected jewelry thief is in jail tonight.
Dustin Ammons, 31, was arrested for allegedly stealing $120,000 worth of jewelry from a northwest side Costco back in late July. During the arrest, police recovered some of the jewelry. They believe the rest was sold or pawned.
Officers are also trying to determine whether Ammons acted alone or if he had accomplices. They're asking for the public's help. If you have any information, you're asked to call police at (210) 207-SAPD or Crimestoppers at (210) 224-STOP.
