Congregation that lost church to fire finds new place to worship
The historic East Side church that lost its place of worship to a fire has a new home. Church members are also singing the praises of San Antonio. Members of the Childress Memorial Church of God in Christ will now be meeting for worship at the Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church. Church members say they were relieved and reassured to learn the fire that destroyed their building was not intentionally set.
