Both Ghawi and Gorzell attended Smithson Valley High School, and attended Community Bible Church.

Pastor Robert Emmitt is preparing for the upcoming services. "Both girls lives life to the full, both girls loved Jesus, both girls loved everybody in their lives , they lit up a room when they came, " said Pastor Emmitt.

Pastor Emmitt told News 4 WOAI he baptized Ghawi two years ago, and Gozell was an active member of the church youth group.
Both young ladies lived a life of faith.

"I can tell you Jessica and Kali, they packed more life into 16 and 24 years than some people do in 75 or 80, " added Pastor Emmitt.

Pastor Emmitt said he's going to preach a message of hope, and focus on how the Ghawi and Gozell lived.

Kali Gorzell's memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at Community Bible Church.

Jessica Ghawi's service will take place on Saturday at 10:00 am.
