SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Parks Foundation will soon be under new leadership.
Former mayor Lila Cockrell is stepping down as the foundation's president. The spry 90-year-old will leave the job at the end of the year. She says she's leaving to finish a memoir.
Cockrell will be replaced by former mayor Howard Peak, who's a huge advocate of green space.
