SAN ANTONIO -- Neighbors living in The Point At Bulverde subdivision are taking a proactive neighborhood approach. Volunteers are patrolling the
area as part of the Bexar County Sheriff's Office Cellular On Patrol program.
"We are the eyes and the ears for the deputies, " said Danni Breaux, president of the neighborhood association, and COP volunteer.
Danni Breaux said there are currently seven certified Cellular On Patrol volunteers in her subdivision.
"You get people looking, I'm mean it does, it works it's preventative, it's preventative, crime, " added Danni Breaux
