SAN ANTONIO - A close race in the runoff for the Democratic nomination for the state's 23rd Congressional District, which stretches from San Antonio to El Paso.
Pete Gallego defeated Ciro Rodriguez with 55% of the vote.
Gallego now goes on to face Republican Congressman Quico Canseco in November.
