SAN ANTONIO -- It's the most wonderful time of the year, and it's beginning to look like it.

A 55-foot white fir Christmas tree arrived in Alamo Plaza Thursday. The tree, a gift from HEB, comes to us from Shasta Mountain in California. It will be decorated with thousands of education-themed ornaments, and all Texas colleges will be represented.

The annual tree lighting will take place the Friday after Thanksgiving.
