Chinese restaurant catches fire

SAN ANTONIO -- Six businesses had to be evacuated Sunday afternoon after a fire broke out at a Chinese restaurant on the Northwest Side.

Fire officials said the fire started in a water heater at the Mencius Gourmet Chinese Restaurant on Fredericksburg Road.

No one was hurt.

Mencius is actually pretty good. Went there a couple times for lunch, but that was a couple years ago. Didn't see any cucarachas and it was tasty...no legs on the almonds!
