GUADALUPE COUNTY, Texas - It was a scary morning for several Navarro ISD students when a man reportedly approached a group of students at a bus stop and tried to get them to leave with him.

The attempted abduction happened Friday at 7:00am in the Elm Grove subdivision in Guadalupe County. We're told the bus driver noticed something wasn't right as she stopped to pick up the students, so she wrote down the license plate of a white truck.

Navarro ISD sent home letters to parents letting them what happened and that the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office was questioning a possible suspect.

No one has been arrested and the sheriff office is asking if you have any information to call them.

There was a man picked up, within about 2hours of the incident. He has not been charged as of yet due to his intent can not yet be proven. HE had stopped at at least two other bus stops along the route, before making a third attempt, he was offering money to girls to get into the car with him, befor making a third attmept. He was told by an older female student, who pushed 2 younger female students behind her, to go away that they were not interested. After approx 10 min, one of the High school male students arrived, the suspect then offered him money to leave but he refused to. Shortly after this the bus arrived and the students reported what had happened. The bus driver then radioed ahead to a second bus that was coining into the neighborhood and they were able to pin the suspects vehicle in long enough to verify the make and model of the vehicle and the license plate number that the students had made note of already.
