BANDERA, Texas -- It's a prank so disgusting, it's almost unbelievable.  Three high school cheerleaders are accused of putting human feces inside a sock then smearing it in another cheerleader's locker.

The incident happened back in March.  But people were talking about it again Wednesday night.

At the time, the girls were given 10 days of in-school suspension. And according to Bandera's cheerleading agreement, that suspension meant no more cheering.  But the parents of those girls are fighting that decision.

Mother, Janice Robinson, said, "She was dismissed from the cheerleading squad and told she could not try out this year. I thought that was a little much."

Those parents did some investigating and discovered some of the girls trying out for next year's squad had discipline problems of their own.  So, to treat every student fairly, Wednesday night the superintendent allowed the three girls and several other to try out for next year's squad.

Lezlie Yurrita, is another cheerleader's mother.  She said, "It's not fair, and it's not right for all the other girls who tried out and did what they were supposed to do according to the policy and the constitution."

Parents who don't want the other three girls on the squad filed a grievance with the district Wednesday.  The district says because of that, this topic could be up for discussion again very soon.
