SAN ANTONIO - A new iPhone case is packing more than just protection for your phone.
It doubles as a weapon.
It is called the Yellow Jacket -- a smartphone case that stings because it's a stun gun.
It can emit 600 watts of electricity.
Co-creator Sean Simone spent the last year perfecting the case.
It has already taken off on the internet.
"There are people that have rifles, shotguns, all sorts of stuff, people that don't carry anything. But the bottom line is you always carry your phone," said Simone.
Simone said they're working on a stronger version for law enforcement...and he says he's in the process of creating a version for the iPhone 5 and android phones.
The Yellow Jacket costs around $100.
