KATHU, Thailand - A man survived a terrible bungee accident, and it was all caught on tape. British tourist Rishi Baveja, 21, was bungee jumping off a 165-foot platform. But his foot fell out of the harness, and he smacked into the water below at 80-miles an hour.
Baveja escaped an almost certain death by managing to take the full force of the impact on his chest. He suffered a ruptured spleen, collapsed lungs, a torn liver and severe bruising and spent over a month in the hospital.
Regardless, Baveja says he's feeling better and may bungee jump again the future.
