OAKLAND, California -- A transit officer's use of force while arresting an unruly passenger on a train was caught on tape and is now being posted on the Web.

An investigation into whether the officer's actions were justified or excessive is now underway.

Video of the arrest posted on You Tube shows a 37-year-old passenger shouting and yelling obscenities. A short time later, the officer pulls him off of the train and pushes him into a window, which shatters.

After he was released from the hospital, the suspect was arrested on felony charges of battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, and public intoxication.
