SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Police Department is hoping someone recognizes a man caught on a business surveillance camera.

The video was taken Thursday around 7 pm at the Express Lube on Marbach Road.

Express Lube employees say the man made off with more than $100 dollars in donations. The video shows an unidentified man taking a donation
box that was sitting on top of the store counter.

Express Lube teamed up with the Alamo Area Mutual Housing Association last month to help raise funds for homeless veterans and their families.

The money raised helps provide homeless veterans with beds.

This is the second time the AAMHA has been victimized.

Back on October 25, a woman walked into a Balcones Heights Express Lube and took the donation box there.

Balcones Heights Police Chief Henry Dominguez said the mystery woman still hasn't been caught. The police department has been following up on leads since the incident.

Donation boxes have been set up at all 25 Express Lube locations throughout Bexar County.

Saturday is the last day for people to donate money to help homeless veterans. Anyone wanting to contribute can stop by any Express Lube location.

A person that will take something that doesn't belong to them does not belong in civilized society. We used to have a good way in Texas to deal with thieves; especially horse thieves. It involved a tree and a rope.

If you catch this POS, castrate him, so he doesn't reproduce. We already have plenty.
