SAN ANTONIO - Mayor Julian Castro has no desire to call the White House home. At least that's what he told the Commonwealth Club of California Tuesday.

Some political analysts say Castro, 38, could be on the 2016 Democratic ticket, and even be "the next Obama," but Castro says while the idea of becoming president is flattering, "it's not going to happen."

However, he did say he may run for a state office.

Castro gained notoriety nationwide for his keynote speech at the 2012 Democratic National Convention.

Another 'fatherless' dude w/ a communist upbringing from a single mom, sound familiar? His mom's activist past is very questionable. BTW, is he even legal? Start your research now, this will be interesting:)

Awww...come on...I was dreaming of the best ticket the democrats could put together for a presidential election....Gilberto Castro Presidente, Joaquin Castro Vice-presidente. Beautiful. To fight against the best the republicans will have then....Sarah Palin President, Rick Perry Vice-president. Ewwww. It will be like giving back the stolen land to Mexico, then some.

He has a twin brother who is has even more political power, you'll get 2 for the price of one in a sense. I like them, but I don't like their mother's uneducated public outbursts like saying she hates the Alamo, at least have some respect.

Oh it's definitely going to happen. He is just going to wait one more term so a few million more illegals can flood into the country. He will promise more freebies and win by a landslide. Adios America, Hello Northern Mexico!

At least he is in reality saying 'it's not going to happen'...If the informed voter has anything to do with it. However, as we have seen during this last election America can have not-so-light-bright moments. You vote a clown into office and your paychecks get cut by letting the tax relief run out. Now hard working Americans are working for less and those who are paid under the table remain with untouched incomes. Anyways, I digress. Castro for prez, nope. 'Not gonna do it'.
