It’s not ill-will, @secondsuxx (classy handle, by the way). It’s called justice. The two idiotic people racing have put an innocent party at risk of losing their life. Yes, people make mistakes all the time. I never played with someone else’s life or my own, though. That’s not a “mistake” that’s criminal negligence. How can his pain and suffering, which is self-inflicted, help out the innocent man he’s injured? Nope, I make no apology for wanting these stupid people off the streets and out of the gene pool.

Unreal...to read such negative comments and wishes of ill-will towards EITHER driver is just ignorant. If you new either one of these individuals, would your attitudes be any different? I happen to know one of them...quite well and while racing was an idiotic decision it was a mistake. This young man is fighting for his life...I think he's paying enough right now without weak minded individuals playing judge, jury and executioner. Oh...that's right...I forgot...you're all perfect and NEVER make mistakes in your life that you wish you could take back. Ya'll need to grow up and stop judging.

So, @Erika1254, do YOU own a red Sentra? Stupid is as stupid does. I’m with shadow1 on this. The people racing, including the cowardly scum that left the scene, should get out of the gene pool. So sorry for the truck driver.

people don't understand consequences of their actions. they don't think. and sometimes those consequences are passed on to innocent people. sometimes that mistake causes minor consequeces, and sometimes people lose their life. this is going to be SOME mistake these kids are going to have to deal with. no excuses for this type of behavior...and you want us to be ok with them saying "oops, my bad i made a mistake?" typical 15yr old response. and i don't see too many people on here wishing them or anyone else harm....just justice

The racers should lose their licenses for a minimum 10 years.

Racing at 3:00 in the afternoon? Did they think that they wouldn't hit someone at that time?! That's right as schools let out and right as traffic is starting to build up. I don't wish death on any of them...but if the driver of the truck dies, and the racer recovers....he's going to wish he was dead when he starts his manslaughter trial. May all those involved recover and I hope that the car has learned a valueable lesson. I hope the other racer is caught too....he apparently also needs a good lesson.

Erika1254: I guess this is all for me, too. Just want to reiterate that we are in a country where "we have freedom of speech" which means we are entitled to our own opinions. I cannot judge these people who have commented here because their feelings/expressions are none of my business!

Prr: and that's all I'm saying. People are wishing horrible things on this guy because he mad a bad decision. I am just hoping for the best of both people and a quick recovery.

To Erika1254: Wish the elderly man death or ill-will? Not at all, in fact his elderly wife had heart surgery (because of accident, I think). I heard she was very worried about me because he walked off the scene walking, and I was driven to the hospital by EMS. I don't dwell on it as I ask the Lord for strength, and have to go on with my life, as only I can do it. I understand his son bought him another car and is still driving, so I hope he doesn't hurt anyone else. I do remember the incident, though, when I see persons driving without regard for others I thank God I am alive! (For all, excuse my USER NAME, Prrr; hate it now, and hope one day I can change it).

Penny 339- I became a user yesterday because I was disgusted with the way people were talking about this and being so heartless. I actually saw what happened and know both parties involved. Either way I don't think the people dying because of one stupid decision should be wished upon a person. Oh. actually my attitude wouldnt change because im not that kind of person..And to Prrrrr: I have been in accidents where it was someone else's fault and actually the driver drove off and left us for dead. I'm sorry that happened you. No one deserves to feel that pain. Does it mean you wish the old my dead and wish harm upon him?
