SAN ANTONIO - Police at a local substation investigated a loud noise and are taken on a car chase that ended with a struggle.

The incident occurred around 11:30 P.M. on the city's west side after officers investigated a suspicious noise and witnessed a car weaving heavily. When the police turned on their lights and attempted to pull the car over, the driver sped off. Police say they chased the car for close to 10 minutes until it crashed on Patton near Highway 90.

The driver and a passenger in the car attempted to run but officers were able to catch up with them. A struggle ensued and the driver attempted to take an officer's weapon. The suspects were eventually restrained.

Police say the suspects are facing evading and resisting arrest charges. The driver will also be charged with driving while intoxicated.

Upon inspection police found a third man who stayed in the vehicle. He will not be charged.

Caning should become the standard. I am so tired of these punks forcing their music, if that noise is called,on rest of lawabiding citizens. That is what these so called public servants should be enforcing, instead they go after situations that put $ in the coffers. Oh and I agree with JoNoes.
