Bottom line: a helpless, innocent child lost his life at the hands of those that were to care for him. It is an abomination! @bnp1392 know that you have more public support than what is represented on this board...don't take what IGNORANT people say to heart. They do not know the particulars of the situation and cast a most decidely biased opinion of what they THINK they know. They do not walk in your shoes. God forbid any of them have to endure such loss for then and only then can they begin to understand what your family is going through. My prayers for you and your family during this time of loss.

His father and stepmother were monsters who took Josiah from his grandmother who cared for him deeply and whom he lived with prior to the 6 months he was with these people who were only concerned about $$. They moved several times and WE his concerned family were unable to find him. For 6 months we went to the father's work...and known addresses for family. HIS mother refused to give us information. So for those of you who entertain yourselves by ignorant comments here is some clarification. YES we are having a fundraiser to pay for the expences...WE did NOT expect to bury a 5 year old! WE CARE AND LOVE JOSIAH DEEPLY! WE gave the MEDIA his beautiful face. @glad1 don't comment unless you have facts. His grandfather is partly to blame. Don't expect the ENTIRE family has the same opinion. A Child still lost his life regardless of all your useless opinions and judgements.

A group of hypocrites all of them , watch they will have a barbecue to bury this angel and keep most of the money for themselves and probably bury baby in a cardboard box , this is my opinion.

Kill those rabid animals , and I ask where we're the grandparents aunts and uncles , did they not see how this child was being abused ,? Hope the other children never have to see these pieces of garbage ever again.my opinion

Ya where were they all? Did they ever see the child? What did they do, nothing and now its too late. Poor baby, damn evil people, hope they fry. And the concerned relatives should also feel plenty guilty. A candlelight vigil full of hypocrites.

Josiah’s grandfather, Martin Balleza said, “Angry, mad, but oh well, we'll put it in God's hands, let justice take care of it”. ....Excuse me, but......"oh well"?!?!??!?!?!?!?! That answers for me the questions of the two commenters below. RIP Josiah.

Exactly, where were these "concerned" family members while this poor kid was being starved and beaten. Let me guess, they will now have a fundraiser cause they can't afford the burial. Their "concern" will now be profitable.
