TAMPA, Florida -- From halftime in America to primetime in Tampa.

The Republican National Committee confirms to CNN that Thursday night's much-hyped "mystery guest" is Clint Eastwood.

The Academy Award-winning actor and director and former Republican mayor of Carmel, CA will address the delegates in Tampa before Florida senator Marco Rubio.

Eastwood is a longtime GOP supporter and officially endorsed Romney at a fundraiser in Idaho earlier this month.

So many classic lines from Clint Eastwood movies: "You a bounty hunter, boy?" Reply: A Man's gotta do something for a living. "Dieing aint much of a livin, boy." Or another of my favs from the Unforgiven (so many profound lines in that movie) when Gene Hackman is about to die and says, "I don't deserve to die like this!" Clint: "Deserves got nothin to do with it."

Three years ago you were presented with irrefutable proof of a HUD-Federal Grant scandal involving your “Obama for America” co-chairman Julian Castro and San Antonio TX City Attorney Michael Bernard - brother of your White House Social Secretary Jeremy Bernard. Ive watched this guy sense he was on rawhide Ive all ways liked him.Well may be not those spaghetti westerns so much...But all the same clint is COOL!

The Republicans were foaming at the mouth because of his 'half-time in america' commercial during the superbowl, now he is an honored guest. Mr Eastwood is cool, I am willing to listen to what he has to say, he has not dishonered the party like the rest of them and still has creditibility.
