WOAI can honestly say this is the first CD released (written, recorded & produced)in Afghanistan and the instruments were played by the musicians themselves and not created on a computer effects board. It was a true international group of soldier musicians. This CD was created not for personal profit, but to support our Wounded Warriors. Great to know that someone made a Rap CD in Iraq in 2005 with a soundboard array and a great computer system. I just heard this and am impressed with the production. Strong Lyrics tell the daily story of life in Iraq. The singer has a strong voice and there are plenty of effects thrown in. It is well worth a listen for Rap/Hip-hop fans as well as anyone who would take the time to read the lyrics if you want to gain a feel for daily life in a combat zone.

This sounds like a great album and I'm looking forward to listening to it. WOAI should change the lede though because anyone who believes it's the first cd recorded in a war zone is wrong. http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/4th25
