NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas--The New Braunfels police department has released surveillance video of a burglar targeting an apartment complex. The incident happened in the early morning hours back on May 4th.

"Apparently he was trying to break into the apartment complex office, he was unable to do so, " said Lt. Steven Hanna with the NPD.

Lt. Hanna went on to say the suspect then broke into a pick up truck. On the tape he's seen breaking one of the truck's windows. "He made off with some stereo speakers, " added Hanna.

The suspect drove away from the apartment complex in a gold Mitsubishi with damage to the front drivers side, and the car is also missing a hubcap on the driver's side rear wheel.

Comal County Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $2,000 dollars for information leading to the arrest of the person (s) responsible for the crime.

If you really want the public's help how about being more specific: 2 or 4 door sedan or suv or truck? Black, hispanic, white. Build, distinguishing clothing, other characteristics. It's so politically correct now you rarely see a description of the race, color, etc for fear of offending some group.

I didn't see the video and I know that Mitsubishi makes several models so I wouldn't know what to look for!
