SAN ANTONIO -- Aaron Clevinger came to San Antonio to get answers, and take his brother's body back to Kansas City, Kansas.
Clevinger's brother, 25-year-old Peter Clevinger, fell to his death from the downtown Rivercenter Mall parking garage late Saturday night.
Clevinger was an airman stationed at Lackland Air Force Base.
"It breaks my heart to see how many people he touched, it's such a loss because he's no longer here, " said Aaron Clevinger.
Clevinger said his brother Peter had been stationed Lackland for the past eight months, and was getting ready to complete his training and head on to his next assignment.
Clevinger went on to say his younger brother wanted to become part of a special operations unit for the Air Force. Peter Clevinger we're told was a great athlete and a college soccer player. "He had an infectious smile, " added Clevinger.
Clevinger, who is a decorated marine, said he is proud his younger brother wanted to follow in his military footsteps.
Clevinger said since his brother Peter and his fellow airmen were almost done with their training in San Antonio they decided to go out that Saturday night.
"They shared the last time that all of them were going to be together , because some of his friends were actually supposed to leave this week, " Clevinger went on to say.
Clevinger said he spoke to the airmen who were with his brother the night he died. He says they were all at the top of the parking garage taking in the city view. Clevinger says after talking with his brother's friends and going to the scene himself, he believes what happened to his brother was a tragic accident .
"There was nothing that leads me to believe it was nothing but a bit of unsure footing, " said Clevinger.
Clevinger says the family has yet to hear from the San Antonio Police Department. Clevinger went on to say his family will find comfort in what his brother Peter left behind.
Clevinger will be leaving San Antonio Saturday morning with his brother's body, heading home to Kansas City, Kansas.
