Boy's honey business blossoms with Texas vodka-maker partnership

I think some of you are going a little overboard with the "9 year old in the alcoholic beverage production" bit. From what I've read, he's not making vodka. Sounds to me like the kid has a honey business that expanded his customer base to a commercial client who happens to make vodka. He's just selling the guy his honey. What he does with it is his own business. No different than a kid on the corner selling apples that are bought by a guy to make apple-tinis in his bar. Kudos to this kid for learning about business, and being successful at it, at such a young age.

@EducatedGirl, but they're not. ey mang's certainly isn't, nor is hot tamale's, although the latter does present a valid point about involving a 9 yr. old with an alcoholic beverage production. I think that it's wonderful that the young man has such incentive and parents motivating him & helping him. I wish him the best in his endeavor and with his future.

Wow thats amazing for a 9 yo! My kid wouldnt come close to a bee or being a bee keeper. I think he can be a good business role model to other kids and kids parents. Hes also managed to get a beverage to market his honey.

Great that the kid is learning about business at his young age, but... Another flavored vodka to entice more drinkers and possible drunk drivers. And, this kid is too young to be learning about and involved in alcoholic beverage production.
