SAN ANTONIO -- Police have arrested a 28-year-old man they say stabbed his girlfriend several times and threw gasoline on her.
Police and EMS were called to a home in the 3200 block of Colima Street around 7:00 a.m. Officers said the woman had been stabbed 4 times in the upper torso.
A neighbor told News 4 WOAI the woman came out of the home, covered in gasoline. That neighbor then grabbed a garden hose and wet her down. The woman was rushed to University Hospital and was in stable condition as of Thursday afternoon.
Police told News 4 WOAI late Thursday afternoon the boyfriend was arrested and is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
