BOERNE, Texas - This November Paul Jennings will be representing the United States as a member of Mercedes-Benz Team USA in the 2012 Global TechMasters international competition in Stuttgart, Germany. Jennings is one of seven service representatives selected out of thousands of Mercedes-Benz technicians and service advisors from the Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) dealership network to represent the country on Team USA at the biannual international competition.

At Daimler AG’s Global TechMasters international competition, Team USA will compete with their counterparts from 15 countries -- Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, and Turkey -- in rounds of theoretical tests, practical tests, and expertise assessments.

Jennings and other Team USA members were selected through a national, multi-level competition called the Mercedes-Benz Stars of Service Championships, sponsored by Mercedes-Benz USA. From nearly 7,000 eligible contenders nationwide, Team USA members were selected based on exceptional knowledge and skills necessary to best serve Mercedes-Benz customers. The other members of Team USA represent Mercedes-Benz dealerships in New York, N.Y.; Las Vegas, Nev.; Sacramento, Calif.; Rocklin, Calif.; Raleigh, N.C.; and San Diego, Calif.
Jennings has worked over 18 years for Mercedes-Benz. He graduated with a Bachelor degree from Abilene Christian University.
