SAN ANTONIO -- Black Friday shoppers at South Park Mall got more than they bargained for when police say a man waiting in line pulled a gun on another man.

A police report states the two men got into an argument around 9:00 p.m. Thursday while waiting at the Sears store. The man who pulled the gun told police he was trying to defend himself after he was punched in the face by the other man. The other man left the scene before police arrived.

The man who pulled the gun had a concealed handgun license and was released.

The days of intimidation and physical harrassment from the local majority (mexicans)are over. Threaten me and I'll deal with them the way mexicans deal with public restrooms. Piss all over them and leave them unusable for any other civilized human.

Wow, thanks for the well written, informative article. Are there any journalists out there anymore ? Cameras ? Witnesses ? I heard the guy with the gun provoked the altercation. If that is true, he should lose his CHL.

What a wonderful society we now live in. Standing in line to buy trinkets, and then fighting over said trinkets. That is the reason I chose to work over the Holidays. I'll stay out in the brush and away from the idiots.

It may not be that he felt he had to bring the gun with him while Christmas shopping - but more of a way of life. My dad has his CHL, and he takes his gun everywhere with him. He carries a small one in his front pocket, no matter where he goes. It becomes a habit, just like putting your wallet in your pocket or grabbing your purse on your way out the door.

If you feel the need to bring your gat with you Black Friday shopping, then this indicates to me that Black Friday lost the spirit of Christmas a LONG time ago- not that massive and obsessive consumerism ever had a Christmas spirit, but those that become violent and shove people out of the way have no business partaking in anything that has to do with Christmas.
