SAN ANTONIO -- Former President Bill Clinton was in San Antonio Thursday for a rally in support of all of the Democratic candidates.

Clinton spoke at South San High School, trying to garner support for Democratic congressional hopeful Pete Gallego. Gallego is locked in one of the closest races in the country with Republican Congressman Quico Canseco.

Cruz campaigns for Canseco

While Clinton stumped for Pete Gallego, U.S. Senate hopeful Ted Cruz helped campaign for Gallego's opponent, Francisco "Quico" Canseco. We asked him what he thought about Clinton campaigning for Gallego.

"The Democrats are firing everything they can at Quico Canseco because he's doing such an effective job, and they're scared," Cruz said. "And they think they can scare voters, and it's not gonna work. Texans know that they want a strong conservative to represent Texas in Congress, and that's exactly what Quico's doing."

Demacrats are scared because this other guy is doing such a good job? That's stupid. This is not a basketball game, this is America. This has gotten so stupid, these Bozo's have forgot it's about the country. Of course, if I were trying for a job that paid off like this one, I would lie also. His salary and the payoffs and correption ought to net him a Million easy. PLUS he gets to keep it all, because none of them pay taxes. I should run for office, but I have honor.
