SAN ANTONIO -- An 18-wheeler ended up in a field after the driver lost control on the rain-slick lanes of Loop 1604.
The big rig was traveling eastbound on Loop 1604 on the North Side when it jackknifed. The truck ended up sliding off the highway and across the frontage road between Redland Road and Bulverde Road.
No one was hurt, but the frontage road was closed for several hours.
