I have read this story several times and have not yet figured out why they arrested this woman. Relative left child with this woman. So what crime did she commit? Am I supposed to read between the lines?

Okay, unless I missed it, WHO is this lady in relation to the mother and child? I find it odd she would just take some random kid, and I find it odd (although not completely far fetched) a mother would let her child travel out of state with another relative to visit a woman she doesn't know...??? I'm really confused. I wonder WHY homegurl kidnapped this baby- ransom money to pay for her cracky addiction??? Sex trade??? Psychological issue in which she wanted to be a mother so bad, she took this child??? And I want to know how this relative left a kid that wasn't even theirs with this woman and went back to Cali all la-di-da nonchalant. VERY weird.
