SAN ANTONIO-- A night of barbecuing led to a fire that caused extensive damage to a Northwest Side home.
The fire started around 12:00 a.m. Wednesday at a home on Mountain Field Drive near Interstate 10 and Huebner Road. Firefighters say the fire started at a back wall of the home and then spread upstairs. The entire second floor was destroyed.
Firefighters say the two people who accidentally caused the fire made it out safely.
