SAN ANTONIO -- Police responding to a call about an assault Thursday morning wound up arresting a man wanted for murder.

Officers were called to an apartment in the 3700 block of Pleasanton Road for a reported assault in progress. When they arrived, they did not find any evidence of an assault but found 35-year-old Andres Alfredo Segovia inside the apartment.

Segovia was wanted in connection with the murder of 32-year-old Joel Flores at the Rosemont University Park Apartments on Emerald Ash on June 8th. Investigators say the two may have been arguing over a woman at the time Flores was shot.

Police believe Thursday's call about the assault may have been from a tipster trying to lead them to Segovia.
