SAN ANTONIO -- Arson investigators have identified three suspects they believe are responsible for starting three recent fires on the East Side.

A statement from the San Antonio Fire Department's Arson Bureau says the three suspects are minors and that their names and ages would not be released.

SAFD officials say one of the suspects is accused of setting a school bus on fire back on January 28th. The bus belongs to the Young Vision Outreach Center Church located at 805 Denver Boulevard. That minor has been taken into custody.

"In a way it's good, I'm glad that they did, but I would like to meet them, " said Joe Anguiano, Pastor of Young Vision Outreach.

Anguiano says he wants to offer his ministry to the person who destoryed the church bus.

The other two suspects are accused of setting fire to a vacant house at 211 Cooper Street on January 30th , and a second vacant house at 1801 Virginia that same day.

SAFD officials say Child Protective Services were asked to get involved with their cases.

The Arson Bureau is working with the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office to pursue charges against all three of the suspects.

Investigators do not believe any of the suspects are connected to any of the other recent fires on the East Side, which are still being investigated.

Young Vision Outreach Center will be hosting a fundrasier on Saturday, March 2nd to raise money for a new bus.

A Bar-B-Que plate sale will be held from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at California Customs, located at 1817 SW Military Drive.
