SAN ANTONIO - Police said they arrested a man who's a suspect in the robbery of a Wal-Mart on the Far West Side.

Jawad Khalil, 30, was taken to jail Thursday evening after his arrest. Officers with SAPD's Robbery Task Force said Khalil is a suspect in the robbery of the Wal-Mart at Loop 1604 and Potranco Road.

Police said Khalil is accused of stealing a cell phone from the store and then threatening store employees with a knife when they confronted him.

Police also said they are investigating whether Khalil is a suspect in other similar robberies that have happened at other Wal-Mart locations in Bexar and Comal Counties.

I wonder if tough guy threatened the arresting officer with a knife. Thing is, he probably robs so many people, he had no idea what he was arrested for till they asked.
