SAN ANTONIO -- An anonymous caller tipped off two businesses to where employees could find their stolen property Thursday afternoon.

The unknown person pointed RTS and San Antonio Timber to a house in the 4500 block of Emil, off WW White near Interstate 10.  Employees from both companies say they were burglarized around Christmas and found stolen items at the home on Emil.

Ray McCracken, with RTS, says employees found stolen tools and deer mounts at the Emil home. When they tried to reclaim their property, someone at the house fired a gunshot to scare them off. No one was hurt.  A golf cart and a trailer taken from San Antonio Timber were also found at the home, according to employees.

Police found at least $30,000 worth of stolen items at the home Thursday evening.  Officers were trying to determine if a large piece of equipment, worth about $45,000, was also stolen.  Two brothers were detained for questioning.

Employees say they do not know who the anonymous caller was and police did not identify that person.
