SAN ANTONIO - Keep a look out for those yellow shirts! The "Amigos" are a group that makes sure Downtown San Antonio stays beautiful.

The non-profit group takes care of the area from Brooklyn to Market Square, to La Villita to Interstate 10 heading East. The group does everything from powerwashing sidewalks to sweeping up leaves, almost anything Downtown that needs attention.

The Amigos take pride in their work. The group is funded by a special tax Downtown businesses pay to keep things nice and work year round, 362 days a year. But Amigos aren't just cleanup crews. Some offer directions to tourists, while others offer help to the homeless on the street.

If you live or work in the Downtown area and see a place that needs improvement on the outside, give them a call at 210-224-7747.

Gracias Amigos, For all you do to try and help keep our city clean. Think you could start working on the city courthouse and city council and clean that up too!!! Oh wait, You would need to get a "snake handler" to help with the clean up.
