SAN ANTONIO -  Voters who live in the Alamo Heights and Somerset school districts will vote on proposed property tax rate changes on Saturday.

Voters who reside in the Alamo Heights ISD must decide whether to add two cents per $100 to their maintenance and operations tax rate.

If approved, the rate increase would generate around $875,000 to help keep class sizes the way they are now.

The money would help Somerset avoid cuts to student programs, replace inoperable buses, and renovate antiquated buildings.

Voting is from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Somerset ISD residents can vote at the district's high school at 7650 South Loop 1604 West.

Alamo Heights ISD residents can vote at the district's central office board room at 7101 Broadway.
