SAN ANTONIO -- If you are flying in or out the San Antonio International Airport expect some delays, but it's all for your safety. Security is heightened as a result of the attempted terror attack in Detroit. It's been a busy weekend so far here, and officials are asking that passengers be vigilant and patient.
Right now, TSA is working hard to carefully check every bag and piece of luggage that comes through San Antonio's airport. The top priority is safety, then convenience, according to officials.
Just expect check-in lines, and security lines will be a bit longer. It's recommended you get to the airport at least an hour and a half before your flight.
