SAN ANTONIO - Bexar County Sheriff’s Deputies are on the lookout for a stun gun robber on the loose.
He recently used a taser on the clerk of a store he robbed and might be responsible for at least one other incident involving a stun gun. The store surveillance video shows him walking into the Twin Theatre adult video store off Fischer Road in south Bexar County.
Lt. Martin Molina said, “He wanders around the place too much and seemed like he was unsure of things -- like he was unsure of what he wanted to do.”
Then he makes his move and uses the stun gun on the clerk. As soon as she falls to the floor, he grabs the register and makes his getaway.
This was not believed to be a high-powered stun gun, and the reason deputies say the clerk is able to get back up right after the attack.
Authorities in Lytle say this same thing happened to a clerk down the street at the Pico store on Saturday night.
If you recognize the man, you’re asked to call Bexar County Sheriff's Investigators at (210) 335-6044.
