WASHINGTON -- The next time you pay your cell phone bill, you might want to take a closer look at a charge called a Universal Access or Service Fee.

It's money you pay every month so that people can have free cell phones. And now a new report says that money might have been wasted. Kristine Frazao has the story.

In LBJ's Great Society, the great "war on poverty," we gave 'em delux apartments in the sky to live in. Those apartment buildings no longer exist. They were torn down after they were turned into total garbage heaps by the freeloaders. If a person doesn't want to work for what they get, they aren't really human. They don't develop pride. You should feel sorry for them not because they are poor, but because they don't care. And you shouldn't help 'em if they don't care.

I'm sorry, I don't care who you are, cell phone service is a luxury and not a birth right. This nonsense is puke-worthy.

When is the government going to learn. You cannot give goods and services to people, epsecially lowlifes. They will find a way to abuse it and in turn cost us law abiding citizens more out of our pocket. I just read that Federal law prohibits more than one free line per household. To me its time to fine the cell providers and cut off all extra lines.
