73-year-old woman injured when car lands on her bed

SAN ANTONIO -- Police say a suspected drunk driver crashed into a home Sunday morning.
 

According to police, the crash occurred in the 4000 block of High Ridge Circle near Callaghan Road on the Northwest side close to 8 a.m. Sunday.

The car landed on the bed a 73-year-old woman was sleeping on, officials said.

Authorities say the woman sustained minor injuries, but she was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The driver’s name was not immediately released.

I think if a drunk driver crashes into your bedroom, that constitutes forceable entry and assault with a deadly weapon, and you should shoot 'em. Think of all the other people you'll be helping out in the future when the lame judges around here give them probation for the 10th DWI.
