50,000 gallons of sewage spilled

SAN ANTONIO -- A cleanup is underway on the Far North Side due to a sewage spill.

San Antonio Water System officials said the spill happened near the Encino Rio subdivision, near Evans and Bulverde Road. They said more than 50,000 gallons of sewage spilled into a dry creek bed.

The cleanup started Tuesday night and will continue Wednesday morning.
