Why isn't the mother also in jail? She knew her little boy was suffering for over a week and didn't care! My heart breaks for this precious child and I pray they never let his abusive mother near him again either. She's just as guilty as the evil boyfriend. I shudder to think of what this child has suffered at their hands before it got so bad he was hospitalized, and his torture became known to authorities. When will they start holding the worthless mothers accountable for their self-absorbed decisions that harm their children?

To the mother: This person, your boyfriend, is a person you want around your child(ren)? You are sick. This can not be the first time his violent side has shown itself and you LET him continue to reside with you and your family. You ought to be treated in the same fashion, your foot and ankle burnt. This child does not and did not deserve to treated this way. SHAME ON YOU!!!! Let this child live with someone who will care for him and love him.

He should be treated in the same way and then thrown into prison for the rest of his life. And let us not forget the mother who stood by her boyfriend instead of protecting here child. She should get serious jail time.
