SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio-area now has 21 confirmed cases of West Nile virus.

Collin County also reported its fourth West Nile virus-related death so far this year. Plano health officials say a Plano resident is the Dallas suburb's second West Nile death. That brings the statewide death toll to at least 55.

While this year is on track to be the worst year on record for West Nile virus, most experts think the season has peaked.

Keeps spreading doesn't it? Bout time the darn city starts spraying all areas. I killed at least 5 of the buggers today, the most I've seen all summer and the "season has peaked"? Seems to me, since the rain we have more mosquitoes than before the rain. For everyone's peace of mind, the city should spray.
