SAN ANTONIO - A 17-year-old girl has been arrested after police say she tried to rob a pharmacy at gunpoint.
The attempted robbery happened just after 10:30 p.m. at the CVS Pharmacy on East Southcross, near Goliad. Police say the teen, who was armed with a gun, walked up to a clerk and demanded money, but the clerk's register was empty. Witnesses said she then walked to the back of the store and demanded money from the pharmacist. After receiving the cash, she walked out of the store only to find the police waiting for her.
The teen has since been charged with aggravated robbery.
