i'm with you, ey mang...just like with all the building near Hausman, UTSA, Bulverde...more expansion, no congestion answers. did they not thing with the flyover at 1604 and 281 that people exiting quicker would cause the congestion to be worse on 1604? just another cluster*uck...

Meanwhile they will continue to build new subdivisions and worry about the worst congestion ever caused by the earlier home and apartment builders. These planners only care to patch so an alternate route is created through neighborhoods where children get killed on the sidewalk.

WTF? Why the *@#$ did they waste millions on the 1604 super street if they were just going to make 1604 between Bandera to Potranco look like the rest of 1604? Why didn't they just build main lanes and frontage roads in the first place?

It's not spiders or salamanders, it's the toll road proponents. All projects of this size will be tolled. Not good!

The federal government assault on Texas continues. There's no other justification for this insanity.

The cave spiders and blind salamanders rule these parts. Bow to them!

Call me a "Conspiracy nut', but I have to wonder anytime I hear toll road. I don't even mind toll roads, when they are a new route (and asphalt), save time and then only if they don't grab up someones land that is being used for something else (crops, etc.). If the improvements to 1604 included toll lanes, would the Fed be asking for additional "studies", or would they have stayed mum? One thing that did seem "good news' is the improvement for Bandera to Potranco. Too much growth in that area to leave it like it is.

Wonder what the environmental impact of bumper to bumper vehicles sitting in traffic jams spewing pollution into the air is? Get off the pot and do something!
