12-year-old girl arrested, accused of making bomb threat

SAN ANTONIO -- A 12-year old girl has been arrested for allegedly calling in a bomb threat to a Northside Independent School District school.

According to a Northside ISD spokesperson, Northside ISD police conducted a bomb sweep of the buildings at Briscoe Middle School early Wednesday morning and increased police presence at the school.

Investigators identified a 7th grade student as the caller, Northside officials said. The girl reportedly admitted making the call and admitted it was a hoax. She was arrested in the school's office.

The school's robo-call system called the parents of the 1,200 students who attend Briscoe Middle School to let them know about the incident.

The girl now faces a felony charge.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people jump to conclusions. A quick rundown of the comments on this page and we see she should be locked up the rest of her school years. She's a potential Communist... Actually her worst offense of her life was she had candy on teh school bus. She makes straight A's. Her entire family goes grocery shopping together for Pete's sake.

I would look at the parents in this also , something may be going on in the home that causes this girl to act out like this , in my opinion , she also should be made an example of to nip this kind of thing in the bud like juve for the rest of her school years , I know If she was a friend of my children she would no longer be allowed near my kids or my home ,bet a lot of parents will no longer want their kids around her ,she has very serious issues is or can become dangerous. My opinion.

I was also wondering if this is the same 12 year old girl who used to make terroristic threats on this site. I believe she is a communist and would be likely to set off bombs for sport. They could be one and the same.

She needs to be sent to juvenile detention and counseled on human behavior, fundamentals on life and the meaning of terrorist threats. She can also be taught to respect the law, what circumstances occur if she does the wrong things.

Listen, little girl- you want to act like a grown woman and act "hard" or play jokes with serious matters then you can accept the consequences like a grown woman.

I glad they got her. Maybe they can break the cycle before she does something even worse as she grows older.
