100,000 gallons of sewage spills on West Side

SAN ANTONIO -- Heavy rains caused more than 100,000 gallons of sewage to spill on the West Side over the weekend.

The spill, which was reported around 7:00 p.m. Sunday, happened along Leon Creek off Highway 151, just east of Military Drive.

San Antonio Water System responded and was able to get the spill under control.
