SAN ANTONIO -- George Rodriguez was murdered more than 11 years ago, and his family is still waiting for justice and closure.
Rodriguez, who also went by the name "Diamond," was killed back on Wednesday, August 28, 2002. The 47-year-old was behind the bar "Club Nacho's De Knippa" in the 600 block of San Pedro at around 3:00 a.m., when he was shot multiple times. Rodriguez's body was found on a porch behind the bar several hours later.
Homicide Detectives believe the shooter(s) vehicle may have been in a dark-colored van or sport utility vehicle. They say they desperately need the public's help to solve this murder.
For one week only Crime Stoppers will pay $10,000 for information which leads to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for George Rodriguez's murder. The reward is good from Monday 02/06/2012 thru Sunday 02/12/2012.
