The restaurant has every right to charge a fee of some sort. Involving the sheriff is extreme.

The management posted two signs stating the fact that it isn't a public restroom and that there is a $5.00 charge so she is in the wrong. This "news" outlet is also in the wrong for trying to make out like businesses ought to give away toilet paper, money, any thing any one wants. Total free for all, why not! They have no obligation to make it available to the public. In New Orleans and in New York there are many many places where you can't use the facilities unless you buy something. These are from walk in deli to a fancy hotel. They would have numerous street people using their facilities for all sorts of things - bathing, sex, bathroom, etc!!

2 words for that restaurant and the folks that run it. But i wont post it here. They have a right to charge non paying customers, but they also have an obligation to make it available to the public. I hope all get the Sheets.
