SAN ANTONIO -- Two women died early Sunday after police say a drunk driver hit a car head-on on Highway 90.
According to police, the women were in a Lexus driving eastbound on Highway 90 when a woman driving a SUV drove over the center guardrail and hit the car head-on.
The women, later identified as 48-year-old Corinne Hollingsworth of Round Rock and 68-year-old Raquel Cooney of Lubbock, were pronounced dead at the scene around 1:00 a.m. Sunday.
The driver of the SUV was injured and taken to University Hospital. She faces two counts of of intoxication manslaughter, officials said.
